AMBayArea will be strictly adhering to CDC and state safety protocols.
Note: Chabot Space & Science Center requires all guests to show proof of vaccination. Following the Oakland City Municipal Code Ordinance, all visitors (age 12+) must show proof of CDC-approved COVID-19 vaccination. Visitors (age 18+) must also present a valid photo ID at the front desk. Unvaccinated visitors with medical exemptions may show a verifying document from a licensed medical professional and a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours. All attendees, speakers, and vendors must adhere to these guidelines.
Chabot Space & Science Center has state-recommended MERV-rated filters, which provide substantial protection from long-range airborne infection, throughout the center. Chabot cleans all commonly touched surfaces before and after every event, and hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the center.
